International Student Identity Card (ISIC)

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the only internationally recognized proof of full-time student status, issued in more than 130 countries. It is the sole globally accepted card that verifies your identity as a student worldwide. With the ISIC card, you gain access to thousands of offers and discounts at over 125,000 locations, endorsed by leading organizations such as UNESCO, the European Council on Culture, and the Andean Community of Nations.

The ISIC card is recognized by universities, academic institutions, student organizations, national governments, and ministries of education around the world. It is available to full-time students aged 12 and above, with no maximum age limit. You can apply for the card online or by visiting your nearest authorized ISIC issuing office.

Card Validity Period

The maximum validity period of the ISIC card is 16 months, based on the academic year. In countries located in the Northern Hemisphere, the card is valid from September of one year until the end of December of the following year. Example: from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2026. In countries located in the Southern Hemisphere, the card is valid from December of one year until the end of March of the second following year. Example: from 1 December 2025 to 31 March 2027.

You will be contacted within 48 working hours to verify your details, activate your request, and complete the registration process.

02 What documents are required to obtain the card?

03 I cannot use my card for online discounts, what should I do?

If you are having trouble using your card for online discounts, please check if your card is activated by entering your card number in the verification box and clicking the Check button.

Activation usually takes up to two working days, and you will receive an email once the activation is complete.

If your card is already active but you still cannot access online offers, please contact us and send a scanned copy of the front and back of your card so we can complete the verification process.

04 I purchased the card, do I need to activate it?

Yes, you must activate your card. To check whether your card is already activated, enter your card number in the box provided on the right-hand side and click the Check card status icon.

 Please note: If your ISIC, ITIC, or IYTC card also functions as a payment card (credit or prepaid card), for security reasons, when uploading photos of the front and back, you must cover sensitive information such as card numbers or CVV. You can use a small piece of paper or edit the image to hide these details.

Activation usually takes up to two working days for verification and processing. You will receive an email notification once your card is activated. After activation, you can immediately start using your card for online discounts and benefits.
